Elizabeth lives with her husband in a beautiful part of Scotland, surrounded by idyllic scenery. She has lived with pain for most of her life. When she was ten years old, she developed scoliosis, which has caused severe chronic back and rib pain. As well as this, she suffers from other painful conditions such as trigeminal neuralgia, migraine and arthritis. She also has osteoporosis and most recently was diagnosed with coeliac disease. Despite her pain, Elizabeth tries to remain positive. She tries to help other pain sufferers by sharing her experiences and coping techniques on her blog, Despite Pain. Elizabeth can be followed on her blog’s Facebook page and Twitter account.
Pain Resource was created with you in mind. As we researched current chronic pain resources, we realized that so many were filled with misinformation, didn’t accurately consider the needs of people living with chronic pain, or, in some cases, were outright predatory.
That’s when we decided to start Pain Resource. With our team of writers, medical professionals, and real people living with chronic pain, we sought to provide a reliable, comprehensive resource for the chronic pain community.
Now, we are dedicated to providing you with relevant, research-backed content that will make a real difference in your life. Living with an invisible illness is inherently challenging, but you don’t have to handle it alone. Pain Resource about us
