    Chronic Pain

Chronic pain is when your body is in continuous pain over a long period of time. Depending on the condition, the pain can migrate and range in intensity. Some common types of pain include: back pain, fibromyalgia and rheumatoid arthritis.

If you live with chronic pain, you will likely work with a pain doctor, who will develop and monitor a long-term treatment plan designed to help alleviate symptoms.

    •      Lack of energy
    •      Mood changes
    •      Weakened immune system
    •      Depression

Treatment differs depending on the onset of pain. Treatments can include physical therapy, medication, surgery and lifestyle changes such as diet and exercise. Therefore, treatment must be determined by your pain doctor.
