As the summer vacation season continues, many of you will be outside swimming, sunbathing, playing catch or hanging out at the family picnic. While this means fun in the sun, make sure you’re not getting too much of a good thing. Check out our tips for avoiding the consequences of overexposure to the sun like sunburn, premature aging or worse, skin cancer.

One simple prevention tip includes what the National Council on Skin Cancer Prevention calls: Slip! Slop! Slap! (slipping on a shirt, slopping on broad-spectrum sunscreen of SPF 30 or higher, and slapping on a wide-brimmed hat, and wearing sunglasses). For more tips click here.
