    Ankles and feet pain are very common. Ankle pain is any type of discomfort in your ankle; an injury or sprain is what commonly causes it. Foot pain is any discomfort in the toes, heels, arches or soles. Pain in these areas can be caused by a variety of conditions including diseases and trauma. The discomfort can occur in either the bones or tendons and joints in the ankles and feet.
